A Child's Moment    Fencing, I thought as I approached the brick building looming before me, I'm actually going to be taking fencing lessons. The large building which housed the community education office used to be an elementary school, and a high school before that. Today it was pretty much the same. I passed the cold, metal playground equipment on my way to the door. I got inside, and turned to go down the hallway, thinking how much bigger this very hallway used to be.      I followed Mrs. Anderson dutifully down the hallway. All the other students were talking rapidly and loosely following the double-file line A Child's Moment

Dear DA Community,

If you have to give credit for a picture of yourself to someone else for taking the picture, then it really isn't self portrait. You *modeled* for the picture, but it is someone else's art.

If you set up the shot (planned the posing, background, fixed the settings on the camera, positioned the camera, and set up the lighting) and only had the other person push the button, then it could probably be considered a self-portrait.
